Comments
Comments: Started in spikes until bare rock on Bondcliff. Trails were solid early, starting to soften about a mile from Bondcliff. Very narrow trail on the side slope. Thought about snowshoes on the way back, however it was too narrow for me in them. Bare rock along top of Bondcliff, snow increases heading down to col with Mt Bond. Started up & about 1/2 way wished I had put on snowshoes but no real issues. Shoes went on on Bond, needed them to West Bond. Bear booted all the way back as I developed a blister on the side of my small toe made worse with snowshoes on. Snow was soft in spots & you stepped just off trail you posted holed...sorry. I saw post holes in the middle of Bondcliff as well.
Beautiful day & saw only 3 people early & 2 later staying at Guyot.
