| Comments: |
Monorail was mostly stable on the way up but required careful footing. Temps increased and on the way down the snow was very sticky and slippery on inclines. Snow between the cabin and summit was turning to mash potatoes. I expect the trail will further deteriorate in the warm weather Sunday and Monday. While I was able to get by with micro spikes, I would recommend snowshoes after my sticky descent. |
