Comments
Comments: Spikes round trip but things were starting to get soft on our way out, almost slushy on the road. Snowshoes got a ride and will have to wait another week for their spring debut! Mix of ice, patchy snow, and bare earth for the first mile or so, then within the next mile the postholes described by Eric Army on 3/16 begin and are endless. They are navigable but require lots of attention. More cover and fewer postholes above 4000'. The steep section near the top was all snow so spikes were sufficient today.
