Bare booted a couple minutes up the Well packed Hancock Notch Trail. A trail runner was finishing up as I put my snowshoes on. Perfect snowshoe conditions all the way. Nice crust I floated on and snowshoes gripped. This was a fast one since I didn't go to the cliff and stayed off the ridge I had a great view of the Franconia Range and Scar Ridge+ from an open area little ways below the summit. A few tight spots but mostly decent room between the trees with some stick breaking. |
