| Comments: |
started out bare booted but quickly switched to spikes after the first bridge. lots of blue ice and exposed roots for the first 3/4 of a mile. Started to regret leaving the crampons in the car. After the stream crossing, the snow returned. trail was packed with numerous post holes. Staying in the middle avoided most of the them. Ridge trail was blown over with 1-2 inches of fresh snow. A little challenging to follow at times. On the way down noticed snow getting soft and slippery on the south facing slopes of the ridge. |
