Decent conditions on Tripyramid slides ... opted for crampons and a mountaineering axe heading up North Tripyramid Slide, forging a route up climber's right, off the main trail route to minimize wind exposure, post-holed our track a bit but figured this route would see little traffic in early spring ...
we wore crampons until the base of South Tripyramid Slide, which could have been etch-a-sketchy with microspikes or snowshoes (someone tumbled down south slide a few days before) ... wore snowshoes from base of South Tripyramid Slide out to my truck ...
