Parked at snowmobile parking lot on Route 2 adding .3 mile each way to trailhead . Saw two cars parked at trailhead .. still unplowed and a little icy but doable with High clearance car. In the next few weeks mud could be the problem ... |

Even with light rain in the forecast we decided to go . Started with a little drizzle then changed to snow for the rest of the day . Such a great hike . Trails are solid although at the end of the day a tad slushy with the mid 30 degree temps. Postholes are minimal and mostly off trail .. spikes only ..snowshoes took a ride |
