Comments
Comments: Wore spikes the whole time although carried snowshoes just in case. The trail was nicely packed until we hit the FRT, where the sun had started to make it soft. The trail between Liberty to Flume was mushy, and we experienced significant snowballing on the spikes. The return down LST was pleasant, although the snowballing on the spikes was annoying. The only downside of the hike was not seeing a single doggy the whole time. Otherwise, a great day to be in the mountains!
