The one main crossing was relatively low making rock hopping quite easy. |

A couple blowdowns, easily skirted. |

Trail was mostly hard packed with an inch of mashed potatoes on top. Step off the line and you're balls deep as the snow is 3-4' at higher elevation. Speaking of which, someone postholed the crap out of the trail when it was warm (last week?). Impressive postholiage in both sheer quantity and depth. Some knee deep, which are now all frozen solid. Leg breakingly fun, so watch your footing. The level of inconsideration for everyone else is astonishing. Idiots. |
