With temperatures in the teens at start we were able to start in spikes, but as temperatures warmed up snowshoes were required. The Engine Hill bushwhack much lower finish then normal, but gets the job done.
Our explorer in group (Ron) wanted to check out “ISO Express†to Davis Path, which begins at water crossing just before “herd path†that by-passes†two water crossings, but rest of group continued to summit to have an extra time celebrating Dave’s 48 Winter finish. Ron eventually showed, we returned via the “iso express “
