Comments
Comments: Excellent hike of Cannon with low winds and clear sky. Although snowshoes were on the pack I wore hillsound crampons(light duty)for entire hike. This made the descent down much easier then standard micros. There are only spotty sections of blue ice as well as some broken through drifting before the outlook. Even though I left the hillsounds on when walking up to the observation deck I still slipped on the steps 2/2 up there-lots of random buildup. I met 8 others enjoying this beautiful morning
