Most still frozen over. No problems with crossing. |

Two blowdowns on Boulder Loop were high enough to walk under. Small blowdowns on Brook were no problem. |

Met two friendly dogs. |

Beige stocking cap and mitten at the trail head. |

About half and half barebooters and spike-wearers today. I wore spikes throughout and was glad I had them on sheets of bare ice. |
