Unnamed Trail from the Trailhead at end of Summit drive
First 80% of the trail on the ascent was ice / hard packed snow; dry just below the first viewpoint with only minor, easily-avoidable patches of snow. Dry trail at summit and to the Uncanoonucs/raptor-viewing area (where the fire pit and two Adirondack chairs are located). On the descent after sun had been out, the snow of course became more wet and loose. |
