Both water crossings have snow/ice bridges but each bridge seems close to falling in and likely will when it warms. |

Only one blow down and it was easy to get around |

I only came across 3 other groups of hikers, so peaceful. Perfect hike for this cold windy day as most of it is under cover of trees. The entire length of the trail was hard-parked with frozen post holes off to the side here and there. The trail was perfect for microspikes because of the low temperatures today. I imagine with the warming temps mid-week that everything is going to soften up and then snowshoes will be needed. |
