Comments
Comments: Lincoln Woods Trail was in great shape, hard packed snow. Switched to snowshoes at Black Pond Trail. Black Pond bushwhack was in rough shape Friday night - clearly broken out and easy to follow, but lots of postholes. But after a bit of fresh snow and many snowshoers, it was looking a lot better on the return Saturday. Saw maybe two dozen other hikers attempting Owl's Head on Saturday. Snowshoes with good traction were a necessity for the Brutus bushwhack up to the summit.
