One huge blowdown in the first half, looks no more than a week old. Easy detour |

Snow in excellent condition in the second half, as soon as the grade picks up. Styrofoam.
In the lower half, the crust was quite thick, but in the morning my snowshoes broke through about every 20 steps, by afternoon with the sun I was breaking through every 4th step.
Seemed like it might be painful to bareboot.
