Comments
Comments: Trails were firm enough to support without snowshoes but step just off the side and you will be found in May. Lots and lots of postholes lining the sides of the narrow, packed foot bed. Very windy to start in the parking lot but once in the shelter of the trees it was much nicer. Bright, warm sun on the summit of North and very windy and cold on the summit of South. Some minor drifting along the ridge near the South Summit. Trails getting softer as the day progressed especially in direct sun. Great day to be out!
