Comments
Comments: Barebooted from car to where it begins to get steep at foot of Fletchers Cascade. Trail well packed out, looks like it gets a lot of traffic to the cascades. I up climbed on southside ans it is well packed out to the top, people are nuts. I kept going until I was way above cascade and to my surprise I ran into old snowshoe track and I was able to follow it mostly but new snow but a posthole here and there and that person went most obvious way through pencil sticks. I stayed out of the thick green spruce by staying south of the Highpoint and then heading north on ridge. I stayed up on the snow sinking in only an inch or two. This was a fast on, I think Flat remembered how rough it was on me last time. I love winter Snowshoeing .
