Comments
Comments: We wore snowshoes all the way to Osceola and back to East Osceola. 1 inch of new snow, a little more higher up. Took the bypass of the bypass to avoid the chimney and the bypass, which looked icy. Switched to Hillsounds for the descent of East Osceola (trail was firmer by then than the way up), which helped with all the lumps and avoiding the postholes. Some postholes were so deep, we may find the postholers themselves when the snow melts! Switched back to snowshoes in the hardwood zone; where the sun was shining, the trails were softening up. A beautiful day in the woods.
