Comments
Comments: started out with spikes but the snow is getting soft. switched to snowshoes after the water crossings, Shoes were very helpful for the ups. Shoes stayed on for the remainder of trip. Saw lots of post holes. The snow on the way down became soft and unstable in spots. Several unintentional butt slides. Several people with out shoes were following us out and planning to slide down the hill. With variable temperatures expect a slippery trip over the next couple of days. If it drops below freezing again, full crampons may be required for the descent down.
