| Comments: |
Wore Hillsounds and carried snowshoes for the entire trek. Microspikes or snowshoes would work just as well. 28 degree start, 46 degree finish. Some overcast in the morning but brightened up nicely. 5-15 mph breeze on the ridge and summit which soft shell handled. Trail packed on the way up and remained packed on the way down except the edges were softening. Met a hiker finishing his 48th winter and another finishing his 44th. This was 47th for me and will do Isolation next week to complete that adventure. |
