Comments: Alton Mountain Road, Precipice Path East, Main Trail, Dave Roberts Quarry Trail, Red Trail, Anna-Goat Trail

A beautiful morning in the Belknap's. Didn't have the time to make it to the Whites, so opted for what turned out to be a great local hike. The trails are all well-packed, although the unusually warm weather has caused some instability in the trough resulting in intermittent post-holing. Snowshoes went for a ride today, spikes were all that was needed, but should the warm weather continue it may be necessary to give the trails some TLC with snowshoes. The weather and conditions felt rather Springlike today, but don't be fooled, there are still several spots where serious ice build-up has made the trails somewhat sketchy.
