Trail Maintenance Notes: recent work on pine bend didn't go unnoticed. nipped a few blowdowns and leaners along the way. a little brushing on rollins and square ledge trails in particular wouldn't be a bad idea.

Bugs: bugs not a problem until a few mosquitoes down low on oliverian.

Comments: all trails in decent shape and generally dry. one amazing section on kate sleeper where there is about a 100 foot section of trail completely covered in trampled moose droppings up to a few inches deep in spots.


was happy to have my water filter to re-fill along the way.


real nice day. decent temps and a cooling breeze at times. first time doing this route in a while. such a great hike. thanks to cynthia for another good one.
