Water Crossings were fine with a little rock-hopping/ There is quite a bit of beaver activity on one of the lower crossings. |

We saw quite a few dogs enjoying themselves today, not much water available for them after the last water crossing. |

| Bugs: |
Donated a lot of blood to the insects in the lower part of the trail, even with bug dope! Bring plenty of the strong stuff right now. |

Beautiful day to tag Carrigain, although the bugs were relentless. Lots of folks on the trail, enjoying the sunshine. Great day out with the hiking partner!! |
