Spectacular day. Very firm trail but not frozen, just right. I started pretty early to get most of the hike done before it warmed up too much. Never used my snowshoes, just bare boots or spikes. Never used my wind gear either, even on the summit platform. Very forward gray jays, you had to fight them off to eat. I still enjoyed them, though. One of the nicest days this winter. |
