Comments
Comments: Up Pine Bend and down Sabbaday. Spiked the whole thing, though snowshoes would have been helpful for the steepest bits of Pine Bend and the slightly less-well consolidated Sabbaday tr. Some good powder to hike/slide down for the first half mile or more of Sabbaday as well. Not scary though. Made for a quick descent! A couple times people opted for not-quite-trail paths across the river, but they all meet back with the trail. Gorgeous day out and little wind made for warmer then expected conditions. Pine Bend is super well packed and I bare booted until it got steep.
