Comments
Comments: Cold start but no wind. Quick to North Twin Tr, took bushwhack to 3rd crossing. Snowshoes on & kept on for the duration mostly for telavators. Snow depths had head & pack in the trees. Kept getting hung up until Climb to South. Clouds on North, then it broke....bright blue skies. Clear windy cold on South. Climb down to Hut is brutal steep but quick. So warm on porch, sunny. Dropped packs made quick work of Galehead. Views from outlook spectacular! Made great time on hard packed trails until Beaver Brook. Many post holes on Gale River Tr. Great loop hike, not as cold as forecast. Thanks Kevin for great hike!
