Comments
Comments: The person who broke the Sabbaday Brook Trail after the last snow did not get it exactly right. There are places where the "trail" hugs the slopes above the brook. Still, an imperfectly broken trail is better than an unbroken trail. I was grateful for their work on the way up and broke parts of what I'm confident is the actual trail on the way down.

The trail above the falls is not so much postholed as chunky. I began to sink into the trail around the Sandwich Wilderness Area sign, so that's where I switched to snowshoes. They were a great help on the way up the steeps.
