Comments
Comments: Carried snowshoes but never used them... hillsound microspikes all day. Trails are sidewalks, never post holes once and I’m 210lbs. Up Boulder loop to summit, then I went over to south peak Straightback then over to North peak. North Straightback link trail is very steep, so going down was quick. Brook trail ice and hard pack then the real fun began the last 1/2 mile to the parking lot. Super eroded and glare ice... I saw people falling down with no traction on. Then it amazed me seeing how many people were getting ready to go up the trail with no traction. I highly recommend microspikes going up mt Major trail from parking lot.... ✌🏻
