Comments
Comments: Wasted at least 45 minutes slogging up the slide when the well-packed Brutus Bushwhack was freshly-tracked and packed. Wanted variety, but got more that needed.
MicroSpikes fine were until base of OH, then snowshoes or crampons depending on temps. AVOID THE SLIDE, it was an unpleasant trip up, but views were great. Met 28-year-old Nick who has already summit the NE 115; thanks for breaking trail for us up the damned slide.
10.5 hours, out at full dark having follow Orion for the last hour.
