Comments
Comments: Right now the trails are like sidewalks, I wore spikes start to finish though I had my snowshoes. Going up SMT is a little annoying in the steeps due to the frozen crust with very fine powder sitting atop. I know people love to butt sled but man does it make it seem like you're trying to climb up a polished slope... there it very little bite to the snow. I made it up just fine though. Some loose drifty type snow in the dips, go off trail and you'll post hole hard core. Drakes Brook was easy squeezy, excellent trail conditions!
