parked across route two based on recent trip reports, lot was plowed with dusting on top of packed ice.First car when I got there one other when I finished at 12:30. Trailhead road and lot were also ice underneath a dusting to 1/2 inch. Two cars there when I finished, you would want to be comfortable with your vehicle on ice. |

still a winterwonderland, deep snow off trail. Well packed trail, I put on snowshoes about a mile up for traction, microspikes would do the trick as well.Great day, cold, but this trail does a great job blocking northwest winds, blue skys with a few clouds on the big peaks. Stopped at the fireplace, but Waumbeck appeared broken out. |
