| Comments: |
Hit the ski trails bright and early to avoid hours of operation. Snowshoes were a must, televators were a huge help. Sleet/snow all morning with high winds near the lift up top. Easy travel along the ridge, drifts here and there but the trail was always easy to follow. Descent through the powder/drifts into Carter Notch is a little hairy on the steeps. Nineteen Mile Brook is a highway at the moment, between Sunday's snowshoes and our 3 pairs today. Excellent day in the mountains. |
