The old Adams Slide Trail, which was our goal, was relatively easy to follow in most places, except for just below treeline, where the thick spruce made it almost impossible to make headway. That only lasted for about 150 ft. That was so thick that I seriously doubt that a person could find the trail by going down. Finding the start of the trail at the bottom is the key. The last time I tried it, we didn't find the start of the trail, and we never saw remnants of trail until we got up to tree line. |
