Comments
Comments: Quick hike of these two peaks. Crawford Path is a packed (slightly soft) superhighway. Drifting starts just above Mizpah Cutoff and increases quite a bit above Alpine Zone sign up to Webster Cliff intersection. Due to low visibility went slightly off trail to Pierce and stuck with trail on descent. Crawford Path to Eisenhower Loop was well broken and established with less than an inch of new crusty snow. Drifting throughout but trail was visible for the most part. Once on Eisenhower wind picked up and freezing drizzle turned to snow thankfully until returning to rain again at 3000 feet. It was nice chatting with two well prepared hikers also heading to Eisenhower one of which was working on there 48,as well as six others. Micros wouldve been fine to MC, but chose snowshoes for entire hike to avoid fussing around in the rain.40/48SSNW48
