Great day for my first Pemi Loop (CCWise) despite the t-storms hitting the last 3 hours for the exit (heavy rain felt good at that point!). Had difficulty feeling motivated to get up Garfield and then Lafayette in the HOT 85-degree sun despite massive quantities of chocolate. Also a great day to finish July (now 571/576). No great time at 15 hours 20 minutes including W Bond & Galehead and lots of breaks. A HUGE THANKS to the support team (Hiker Ed & Forestgnome) for tailgate provisions :)))). |
