We probably could have bare-booted this entire loop -- and saw others doing so without issue -- but we wore snowshoes round-trip due to a thin layer of soft, sticky snow on top of a solid base. One cold night will harden everything up nicely.
Muted views today due to the overcast skies, but no precipitation and comfortable temps. |
