Trail was mostly blown in when we arrived at 7:30am. We were a party of two, followed by another party of two, all wearing snowshoes, so by the end of the day the trail was in pretty decent shape. The trail was all loose powder, with between 2-12 inches of fresh and/or drifted snow. Going up was a chore, with the combination of steep trail and loose powder. Hopefully all of our hard work will last through today's wind! We had to trail find across the ridge so it might be a bit off, but it does get you to where you need to go. Fantastic views and speedy descent! |
