Comments
Comments: The Morgan trail had been broken out but was still very soft. Three ladies were just ahead of us and that made it easier for us, although we still needed snowshoes. The Crawford Ridgepole trail and Percival trail had not yet been broken out, so thank you to the three ladies that made it a bit easier for us! One of them dropped her jacket just below the steep ledges on Percival, with her keys in the pocket, and I brought it back down to her; it was the least I could do for all their trailbreaking work! The only place where ice was a problem was on some of the steep ledgy sections on Percival. If I had it to do again, I think I'd go counterclockwise instead of clockwise. (The only reason for doing it clockwise is because of the ladders on Morgan, and we did the bypass anyway.)
