Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail, Monroe Loop, Crawford Path, Eisenhower Loop Trail, Crawford Path

We planned on taking advantage of the temps to do a southern Prezi traverse, but it was not to be, though. My hiking partner and I started breaking trail up Ammo to Lakes of the Clouds Hut at 8:00. It was hard to follow the trail above treeline and visibility became a huge issue for us around 10:00. At around 10:30, we arrived at Lakes of the Clouds Hut on the northern side of the hut and not the southern/Monroe side where the true trail meets up with Crawford Path. Visibility was a big safety concern for us at that point and we reassessed and headed back down Ammo. We only saw one skier on the way out, but with our doubling back this trail is pretty well broken out now.
