There is a large tree which is leaning across the trail maybe a couple of tenths of a mile before the second water crossing. No way to tell how stable it is, but it does look like a potential hazard. |

Trail is well packed and in good shape. However, even early this morning the temperature at the trailhead was at or slightly above freezing, and I could feel the snow softening a bit. For that reason I wore snowshoes from the start to avoid damaging the lower portion of the trail.
Some minor drifting in the trail on the final approach to the summit. |
