Comments
Comments: 2-3 inches of new snow from the storm yesterday afternoon/evening. Snow is a bit more moist than some of the other recent events, so it may pack out well IF SNOWSHOES ARE USED.

Old Mountain Road and Crawford Ridgepole had their share of postholes from prior to the storm. In addition, barebooters had meandered off the trail into the vegetation on the ridge (this is how we get trail creep). I broke out the trail proper, including the drifted areas, but it is not well packed. I also tried to fill in some of the nasty ankle turning postholes.

PLEASE WEAR SNOWSHOES in the forecast warmer days this week so that we can have a nice footbed for all to enjoy.
