I left my black beanie with a yellow running tree logo up in the exposed area. Met two nice ladies on the way down who said they hung it on a tree. Alas I did not see it on the way down. |

Trail is well packed down. I used snowshoes on the way up, primarily for the televators. Spikes would have worked fine. The exposed area up high had a good amount of drifting. Snowshoes helped a lot here and the trail was difficult to discern at times. Take care, especially with the new snow that fell afterwards today. Once I passed this section on the way down I switched to microspikes which allowed me to descend quickly. Needed face protection in the exposed areas - it was nippy up there! |
