 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Was able to park at Gale River Loop road before the gate on the right side of Route 3 North. Room for 5 or 6 cars directly in front of the gate and room for 6 to 8 cars to park along the side of the entrance. Some of the side parking is near deep snow. proceed with caution if parking on the side if you dont have AWD. When we got back there were 5 or 6 cars parked along the side of Route 3 and I saw at least one person road walking down to the Trudeau Road intersection. |

 | Comments: |
Great hike up to Garfield. I wore snowshoes the entire 12.5 mile trip, my hiking partner choose micro-spikes. Either would work as the trail was fully packed down. very nice hike, gradual incline until you get to the last 1/10th of a mile ascending. |
