Comments
Comments: Walked in about a mile using micro spikes, but switched to snowshoes and kept them on the remainder of the day. Most folks on the trail using snowshoes, too. About 1-2" of loose granular, increasing as the sun was out most of the day. Entire hike would be doable in just spikes, but would have been working a little harder. 5.5 hours total, probably about 5 hours moving.
