Comments
Comments: Adams and Madison made their own weather. Fog and blowing wind above tree line. Gusts 30-40mph. Fantastic day and occasional view as fog/clouds parted. Definitely recommend MSRs above tree line. Crampons would work as well, but many spots had deep drifts so snow shoes best. Spikes up through the woods on Airline were perfect. Kept snowshoes on going down Valley. Fair number of hikers huddled around Madison Hut - but sadly no way in.
