Plenty of room at 6:30 AM, only one truck (2 young men who stayed in the cabin overnight)

There are several "streamlets" on Bunnell Notch Trail that are a bit difficult to cross with snowshoes (because the slopes are steep) |

I encountered about 30 (!) people today on the trails. About 20 of the hikers wore snowshoes for both ascent and descent which helped to pack down and stabilize the trail.
The trails were pretty solid with about 2 inches of soft powder in the morning and only a few post holes by the afternoon. |
