Lost and Found
Lost and Found: oh my magpie, today was the day for lost and found. on our way back from Flume there was a small black satchel hanging off a tree branch that had goggles in it. left it. figured it belonged to someone who was going to come back that way. then on our descent of LS, a lone newish MSR snowshoe dangled from a branch that wasn't there on our way up. probably belonged to one of the butt sledders. then further down, found a pair of really old crappy MSR Evos just lying in the middle of the trail. another butt sledder accoutrement? these I picked up and carried 1.5m to the LS trailhead sign and left them there.

Comments
Comments: BSK & I were the first to hit the trail this morning, but were soon over taken by others. LS *mostly* packed down, got a little more unconsolidated the higher we climbed, but with today's traffic, I'm sure it's much better now. the ridge over to Liberty & Flume a bit drifty. the wind was almost non-existent on both summits. plenty of people out enjoying the day. on our way down from Liberty, crossed paths with 'hiking royalty' the Teal Goat! I forgot to tell him how much I enjoy reading his trip reports. a great day had by all.
