Comments
Comments: A fine day in the forest, for sure! Late start but it worked out perfectly. Saw TONS of familiar faces out enjoying an absolutely stunner of a day in the WMNF. Trail is in fine shape end to end. My friend spiked car to car, I put on snowshoes just after the last water crossing for the televators. Lots out, lots bare booting while carrying snowshoes -- I don't know why you wouldn't use them for the televators alone instead of them being ornaments on your pack. To each their own. Low wind, abundant sunshine and mid teen temps made for a lovely day. If you heard a loud boom earlier today, that was Skittles hitting the sound barrier coming off Liberty Springs on a sled. Congrats to her for a few more off her first round!
