Bugs: Not too bad today. I think I did a better job applying bug spray and this kept them at bay.

Comments
Comments: A nice hike. Everything was very wet this morning as I headed up. According to others who had hiked in the area yesterday, it had been pouring down rain. By early afternoon parts of the trails were starting to dry a bit. Generally, though, care had to be taken as rocks and footbridges were slippery. Nineteen-Mile Brook Tr was very nice going; my positive memories of it were not misleading! Wildcat Ridge Tr was steep as expected, but since it was only 0.7 mi it didn't seem that bad.
